Trevor life

2017 January 27

Created by Natasha 6 years ago

Trevor Morris, beloved husband of Linda, loving Dad of Karl, Natasha, Ashley and Richard, much loved brother and friend.

Trevor was born and raised in Stowmarket by his parents Charlie and Marjorie Morris. Trevor had five siblings;Brian, John, Colin, June and Karen. Trevor was your typical boy growing up, beating his Dad’s beloved Sumac tree with a broom handle and earning himself a clip round the ear, racing his bike down the hill with his younger sister on the back, seeing how fast they could go. And when he was older, crashing in on his brother Colin’s dates.

But he would soon get a job and a life of his own. Trevor did lots of different work to begin with, including working a milk-round on the working in men’s clothing factories and for a time installing loft insulation. But then he finally found a job he loved, as a roadsweeper for Mid Suffolk District Council, where he made many friends.

Trevor then met his beloved wife Linda and adopted her three children; Karl, Natasha, and Ashley. He took these children under his wing as if they were his own and loved them unconditionally. In 1993 Trevor and Linda were married and settled into family life.

Linda returned to full time work in 1999 but had spoken with Trevor about feeling unwell. They then discovered that they would once again be hearing the sound of little feet. In 2000 Richard was born – a small, perfect bundle of family happiness. Trevor was besotted to have a son of his own, even though he loved all his children unconditionally.

Life was perfect and as his children grew up and some got married, he then became a Granddad, to three wonderful grandchildren – Alisha, Joshua and Lola.

In 2014 Trevor was struck with a diagnosis of cancer. He remained strong and was determined to give cancer what for…

But on 7th January 2017, Trevor was getting weak and could fight no more. He slipped off to sleep in the arms of his beloved wife, Linda, and surrounded by the people he loved the most, his children and grandchildren.

Rest in peace our forever Friend.
